Committed to improving quality of life, one client at a time.
The History Of LEAC
The London Employee Assistance Consortium (LEAC) was established in 1976 as a private, not-for-profit Ontario corporation. It was founded in response to the need by the business and industrial community for local, readily available counselling services for their employees.
Originally, there were 6 founding member organizations, whereas today, there are over 28 and growing. Member organizations represent a broad spectrum of sectors ranging from manufacturing companies, municipal and service organizations, independent businesses, and emergency service organizations.
LEAC has always been located in London. However, a second location has been established in St. Thomas. Having the two locations is more convenient for our clients and reflects growth within the LEAC counselling organization.
Today the need for quick access to counselling for employees and their dependents is greater than ever. LEAC continues to address a wide range of concerns such as stress and anxiety, depression, family or marital issues, and workplace relationships, to name a few.
LEAC is unique from other counselling agencies because there is NO CAP on the number of sessions available to employees and their dependents.
